The passion of Federica Bassi for fabrics began when she was very young. Her parents worked with colorful, soft, and beautiful silks, both to the touch and to the eye. They created stunning ties and scarves that were already being sold worldwide by the late 1970s.

A nomad at heart, she started traveling at a very young age to sell her family's ties in New York and Tokyo. Then, in the early 1990s, she began exploring India and the East, inspired by the stories of her hippie uncles. She creates garments that reflect this passionate journey, a mirror of her passions and curiosities.

The collection consists of pieces that don't necessarily match each other; though connected by a common thread of color, they allow for the freedom to express one's style through unique combinations. The long embroidered skirts have become iconic items; the embroidered kaftans serve as manteaux in spring and replace the cardigan in winter. The patchwork kimonos are all unique pieces, each different, paired with oversized jacquard scarves featuring needle-punched inserts and tailored details.
